Oh noes. You have come across another Friends Only journal. :)
Comment first, telling who you are, what you're up to, and don't be bashful!
A caveat though: I might be picky with people I actually trust my LJ with. So that means an add is not guaranteed. Sorry.

To my friends from far away, I apologize, I am lousy at updating.

I just finished my midterm exams today, the last one being Legal Medicine. I really do hope that I get them right, because they seemed fairly easy, but you know what law school exams are like.

Received my results for Obligations and Land Titles. Both need improvement. No excuses.

Today, today was a red letter day, and an unexpected one, too! A week ago, you found an entry bewailing the fact that my favourite professor scolded me. But I got the surprise of my life.

I PASSED. I GOT A 79.

I TOTALLY   ATTY. RENE GOROSPE.

I know you'll say, GET OVER IT. But please. Let me just mince on it. Just for tonight. I never expected to pass it, because my answers were just as far-fetched as Atty. Gorospe's exam questions. To quote my sorority sister Karen, it can actually make your nose bleed. It really could. I answered it directly to the point, and on one page each number. I ACTUALLY EXPECTED TO FAIL. But...God is so good. I'm not saying this because something good fell on my lap, but I really mean it. It's hard to explain here.

I am just so happy that I could forget about earnest looking men with glasses, looking intellectual and all that. And then, all of a sudden, he makes me laugh with his talk of stray kittens and dumplings.

So what's your problem?

My professor scolded me. I wasn't studying, he said.

Down will come baby, cradle and all.

For one thing, no baby was born. It was a five-month old fetus.

Hence, no cradle.

I cannot help but marvel. Isn't it a bigger sin to abort a baby than to use a condom? That's quoting my father.

Tsh.

This morning, I was watching the morning news, with a report that an aborted five-month old fetus was found in a trash bin somewhere in Manila. Residents of that certain area said that they did not know who was that "unknown" mother, because for certain, they would know the women who are pregnant in their area. So they assumed that it was someone who was afraid of being penalized.

Articles 256 to 259 of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines covers Abortion--whether intentional, unintentional or performed by a pharmacist or midwife. It is punishable by imprisonment.

Art. 256. Intentional abortion. — Any person who shall intentionally cause an abortion shall suffer:

1. The penalty of reclusion temporal, if he shall use any violence upon the person of the pregnant woman.

2. The penalty of prision mayor if, without using violence, he shall act without the consent of the woman.

3. The penalty of prision correccional in its medium and maximum periods, if the woman shall have consented.

I like how we argue, but not everyday.

Instructions: Click here and type in your answer (or the closest thing to it) to each question in the search box, then write the first definition it gives you.

YOUR NAME. =a beautiful exotic human being. extremely skinny. (haha, I wish!)
"you see that weird pretty person over there. what a Layla."

HOW OLD ARE YOU? = This refers to a metrosexual male who is suspected of being gay because rumor has it that he has two X chromosomes and half a Y which translates to roman numerals XXV coz a V is half of a Y.
"Why is it that twenty-five gets more attention from the guys than I do?" Uh, WTF.

ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS= Very Beautiful, simply the hottest. Her personality is very kind and generous. Never met another person as wonderful as Nadine
"Wow your so beautiful almost as good as Nadine!!" *winkwink* the origin of this meme ALREADY KNOWS WHAT I MEAN. :D

WHAT SHOULD YOU BE DOING?=A blend of the words "student" and "dying," used to convey the slow and painful methods schools use to corrupt the youth into socio-economic puppets.
Teacher: Student, why aren't you studying, you need to study so that you can advance in the world.

FAVOURITE FOOD. = The perfect meal--an open-faced pie using tomato sauce, cheese, and any manner of meat toppings. In addition to the standard, medium-thick-crust pizza, there are two major American varieties: New York style, also called thin crust; and Chicago style, also called 'deep-dish' or (more accurately) 'stuffed' pizza.
="Pizza is the perfect meal, man. A slice for lunch, a whole pie for dinner, and cold pizza for breakfast--hallalujah!"

LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE (via SMS, lol)= tall, gorgeous girl who loves her friend Katy. Someone who dosen't really realize that they're pretty but everyone else is hella jealous
="hey, ive never noticed that girl before. whoa, she is soo julianne. efffing hoe, shes gonna take all the good guys."

I swear I'll never...

Let my feelings show. Or to be too nice to a person. Especially if the person you are nice to has friends who mince on every situation, make it a point that when I talk to that person, there is already an issue. So, the guy's friends are well...

And even though it irritated me, I just realised I'm better off without it. :)

If you ain't here, I just can't breathe.

I walked, I jumped, I ran, I flew
Right off the ground to float to you
There's no gravity that can hold me down for real.

In a week, there's the midterm exams. I don't know why, but I didn't seem nervous as I did before. Well, I AM nervous, but it's not as if I didn't learn anything at all.

Went home late from school. My Constitutional Law class for Tuesday is only an hour, so I had a LOT of time to study afterwards. My goal is to memorise up to 15 articles. And I'm really up to that challenge. I didn't remember what article I last read, but I'm certain I went past my limit.

[info]nadineheather--thanks for the emails--thank you for making me sane these past few weeks. I lost track of who I was, and I don't know why. Maybe out of fear, and out of a million insecurities. Don't ask what they are, it'll take forever to explain. But thank you, thank you! I just hope and pray that things will be okay with your sister. And that your mum will be better.

I will get things sorted for exams next week. Then start on the letter journal.

I slept like a log last night. Being at a party took its toll. Meaning, I haven't partied for so long. Then again, I'm no party animal.

School was pretty good. Yes, I mean it. But mark my words, the blogging world will see less of me one of these days. For one thing, I don't have much to write! Well, at least not enough to catch anyone's attention.

I am going solo. I will go with a different crowd, but I'd rather be a free agent for a long while.

Lord, this is what I want. But please help me stop rebelling.

Finally, freakin'ly.

You could be happy and I won't know
But you weren't happy the day I watched you go
And all the things that I wish I had not said
Are played in loops til it's madness in my head

Is it too late to remind you how we were
And not our last days of silent screaming blur
Most of what I remember makes me sure
I should've stopped you from walking out the door

You could be happy I hope you are
You made me happier than I'd been by far
Somehow everything I own smells of you
And for the tiniest moment it's all not true

Do the things that you always wanted to
Without me there to hold you back don't think just do
More than anything I want to see you girl
Take a glorious bite out of the whole world

I'll keep you, my dirty little secret.

In spite of private disasters, the summer is perfectly glorious. Spell it in capitals please. If my wish will be granted, it would be MAGICAL.

Camp plans are soon under way, and all we are waiting for other things--the camp materials and the final arrangements.
